Karnig Sarkissian - Hayotz Mardigner

Karnig Sarkissian is considered to be the premier patriotic singer in the Armenian world. Karnig was born in Allepo, Syria in 1953. Although his birth place was away from his homeland, Armenia, his heart and soul has always been in Armenia and for the Armenians. Karnig’s songs are exclusively nationalistic and patriotic. His style and charismatic voice brings out thunderously volcanic feelings in the hearts of  both older and younger generations of Armenians. He brings the subdued nationalism in every Armenian
