The tragic love story of Anoush & Saro within the setting of a typical 19th century Armenian village. Performed in Armenia in the mid 1980's, this complete 5 Act stage version of the "Anoush Opera" is a rare find. Though the opera has been performed worldwide, no visual recordings of it have ever been publicly released on DVD. The role of Anoush is played by Arax Mansourian, Saro by Razmik Papikian and Mossi by Constantine Simonian. Included is a complete description of the opera in 5 Acts. Running time about 160 minutes.
